Cusseta, GA - Willene Davis Anderson, 79, of Cusseta, died peacefully Sunday 
evening at the home of her daughter, Wilhelmina.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 
2009, at Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus. The family will receive friends at the 
residence of Wilhelmina & Ted Mueller, 166 Box Springs Road, Cusseta, on 
Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 pm.

Mrs. Anderson was born June 18, 1930, in Geneva, Alabama, to William Monroe 
and Eva Brown Davis. Methodist by faith, she was a member of Cusseta United 
Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and past-Worthy Grand Matron in the 
Columbus Chapter #261 of the Order of the Eastern Star. In addition to her 
parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Hubert Davis, and a 
sister, Marilyn Hand.

She is survived by two daughters, Wilhelmina & Ted Mueller and Angela 
Williams, a sister, Carolyn Mathews, two grandchildren, Angela Renee Davis and 
Kimberly Faith Williams, and her former husband, Homer C. Anderson. Several 
nieces and nephews also survive. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cusseta United Methodist Church.  
Tante Funeral Home in Buena Vista, Georgia, is in charge of arrangements.
