Shirley J. Arnold, 73, of Upatoi, Georgia passed away Monday, September 30, 
2013 at her home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2013 
at 2:00 P.M. at Weems Road Baptist Church with entombment at Parkhill 
Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 
P.M. at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Arnold was born on February 24, 1940 in Columbus, GA to the late Robert 
D. Foster and Danie Barrett Wheat. Mrs. Arnold retired from NOK in LaGrange, 
GA. Mrs. Arnold was a member of Weems Road Baptist Church where she served in 
the ladies Auxiliary and as the Seniors Director. She very much enjoyed 
singing in the choir. 

Survivors include her husband David Arnold of Upatoi, GA; two daughters, 
Brenda (Nat) Farrar of Tullahoma, TN, Sherry Evans of Columbus, GA; one son, 
Brian (April) Fuller of Upatoi, GA; one brother, Bobby (Myrtice) Foster of 
Junction City, GA; five grandchildren, Silas Fuller, Clara Fuller, Darla 
Farrar, Melissa (Chris) Dionne, and Jason Evans; one great-grandchild, Clayton 
Dionne
