Patricia Ann (Purdom) Barrett
JANUARY 1, 1941 ~ DECEMBER 20, 2018 (AGE 77)

Ms. Patricia Purdom Barrett, 77, of Cottontown, TN passed away on Thursday, 
December 20, 2018.  Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 28, 
2018 in Tazewell Cemetery at 11:00 AM with Rev. David Chapman officiating.  
The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 
6:00 – 8:00 PM. 

Mrs. Barrett was born January 1, 1941 in Baxley, GA to the late Ernest and 
Tommie Gardner Purdom. Mrs. Barrett was a member of New Providence Baptist 
Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Barrett and a 
grandson, Daniel Pickren.

Survivors include her children, Lin Buchanan and her husband, Tim of 
Cottontown, TN and Allen Pickren and his wife Erika of Buena Vista, GA; step-
children, Mary Ann and her husband Rick, Judy Webb and her husband Tommy, 
Richard Barrett and his wife, Beverly, Johnny Barrett and his wife, Renee, and 
Shirley Barrett, all of Buena Vista, GA; ten grandchildren, Bryn Lopes 
(Darby), AJ Pickren (Melissa), Dustin Pickren, Jessica Pickren, Tarah Prince, 
Ashley Waters, Chris Barrett, Taylor Barrett, Harmony and Teresa; seven great-
grandchildren, Kyler Lopes, Logan Pickren, Savannah Pickren, Britton Lopes, 
Breann Krohn, Bristol Lopes and Madison Prince; and a brother Steve Purdom of 
Las Vegas, NV.
