Family Funeral Program
BLUE, JULIA MAE PORTER, born 1923, the 4th of 12 children  to Harrison and 
Mammie Porter of Buena Vista, GA. She was educated in the public schools of 
Marion County and employed as a poultry processor at Cargil in Buena Vista.  
Julia married O C B lue and they had 5 children.  Julia Mae died 2003 in 
Tazewell, Marion County, GA; Funeral Saturday, October 04, 2003 Mt Olive 
Baptist Church; Reverend Joseph R Oglesby officiated; burial in Mt Olive 
Baptist Church Cemetery in Tazewell.    Pallbearers were Wilbur Sales, James 
Andrews, Robert Fudge, Jr., Harrison Porter III, Moses Ross and Milton Minter. 
Surviving 3 daughters, Bessie Napier, Diane Blue and Sarah Blue; sons Curtis 
White, and  (son McArthur Blue, deceased); 7 sisters, Mary E Sales, Alma Ross, 
Ella Pearl Ramsey, Louise Tennyson, Nancy Porter, Ella Mae Porter and Irene 
Minter; 3 grothers, Harrison (Ida) Porter, James Edward Porter and Jimmy 
Porter; 15 grandchildren; Mac Arthur (Crystal) Blue, Jr.,  Horis Napier, 
Carrie A Black, Jayson J (Chanetl) Black, Aaron Napier, Beatrice and Kenyetta 
Brooks, Demetrius Brown, Daphne Perkins, Amanda Hollingsworth, Paul Hart, 
Teresa Aldridge, Nicholas Minter, Monica Blue and Gregory Perry; 6 great 
grandchildren; Jason Black Jr., Jaylen, Joshua and Benjamin Black, Erric and 
Nicholas Cargile.
