BLUE, McARTHUR
Mr. Blue was born November 29, 1944 in Marion County, GA to OC and Julia 
Porter Blue.  He attended public schools in Marion County and was the oldest 
of five siblings.  He married Betty Napier and they resided in Decatur Georgia 
over 25 years.  He was a self-employed automobile mechanic.  Mr. Blue died 
December 9, 1996.  Funeral held December 14, 1996 at Mt Olive Baptist Church, 
Tazewell, GA; Reverend Joe Olsby officiated; burial in Tazewell City 
Cemetery.  Pallbearers: Robert Fudge, Greg Germany, Wilbert Sales and John Lee 
Williams.  Flower bearers: Sherry G Nappier, Barbara Tukes, Mozell Sampson, 
Hazel Porter, Evelina McBride, Debra P Graham, Nora Fudge, LaRonza Crimes.   
He is survived by his parents, and wife; children, McArthur (Kristal) Blue, 
Jr., Beatrice S Brooks, Paul Hart, Kenyetta Brooks, Daphne R Brown, Demetrius 
L Brown and Horace Napier; sisters, Bessie B Black Napier, Diane Blue and 
Sarah Blue; brother, Curtis White; aunts: Louise Tennyson, Mary E Sales, Alma 
P Ross, Nancy Porter, Ella Pearl Ramsey and Irene Porter; uncles: Harrison 
Porter, Jr., Jimmy Porter, James E Porter and C J Porter. Meadows Mortuary, 
Atlanta, GA.
