Family Funeral Program
BLUE, RUTH ELLA GRUNDY
Mrs. Blue was born August 25, 1925 in Schley County, GA to Claudeie and Lovie 
Ruth Majors Grundy.  She was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church and on 
January 17, 1942, she married Morris Blue.  Mrs. Blue died August 20, 1988 at 
the Hamilton House Nursing Home in Columbus, GA. .  Funeral held Wednesday, 
August 24, 1988 at Cedar Creek Baptist Church; Reverend Floyd Story, Jr., 
officiated. Burial in Cedar Creek Baptist Church cemetery.  Pallbearers: 
Claude Blue, Maud Blue, Ralph Blue, Major Blue, Alonzo Brown, Rodney Perry  
She is survived by her husband, daughters: Ella Ruth (Walter) King of 
Ellaville, GA, Mary (Phillip) Perry of Ellaville, GA, and Yvonne (Richard) 
Brown of Mauk, GA; sons, Maude (Mary) Blue of Swedesboro, NJ, Claude Blue of 
Columbus, GA, Ralph (Gloria) Blue of Buena Vista, Major (Daphne) Blue of 
Columbus, GA. 9  grandchildren and nephew Bryan Kevin Bryant of Buena Vista, 
GA. Progressive Funeral Home of Columbus, GA
