Alberta Boatner August 4, 1917- August 26,2006 Phenix City, Alabama.
Alberta Boatner, 89,of Phenix City, Al. died Saturday, August 26,2006 , at the 
Columbus Hospice House. Funeral srevices will be held 11 AM Tueday, August 
29th, at the Philadelphia Batpist Church  in Smiths Station , AL. according to 
Striffler- Hambry Mortuary, Phenix City.  Internment will be in the 
Philadelphia Batist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday 
evening from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home.Mrs Boatner was born August 4, 
1917, in Marion County, Georgia,daughter of the late Elza Alberta Roberts and 
Lovie Elizabeth Brady Roberts. She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church 
and had been employed by Boatner Drapery Shop. Mrs Boatner was preceded in 
death by her husband, Olise Mayo Boatner, a son, Bobby Boatner,and brothers and 
sisters. Survivors include her daughter in law , Jeannie Boatner of Phenic 
City; three grandsons, Tim Boatner and Todd Boatner of Phenix City, and Ty 
Boatner of Troy, Al.; great grandchildren , Tyler, Conner and Kashe Boatner, 
Kyle and Lauren Hargraves, neices and nephews.
