Mrs. Martha Estelle Dillard Bridges,age 85, of Bridges Store Road, Ellaville, 
GA. died early Monday morning, April 10, 2006 at the Medical Center in 
Columbus, Georgia.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 12 at 11 A.M. at Concord United 
Methodist Church with burial in the Ellaville Cemetery. 

Mrs. Bridges was born July 22,1920 in Marion County and was the daughter of 
Joseph Emmett Dillard and Nettie Eunice Bryan Dillard.  Mrs. Bridges was 
preceded in death by her husband, Mr. J. R. Bridges, in 1994.
 
Survivors include two daughters and two sons in law , Elaine and Aaron Phillips 
of Ellaville, Patricia and David Snipes of Midland, GA.;one sister, Jeanne 
Dillard Yarbraugh of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers and four sisters in law; 
Harold and Geraldine Dillard , Vernon and Jacquelyn Dillard , Mary Dillard and 
Helen Barwick all of Ellaville; four grandchildren- Kenneth Phillips, Keith 
Phillips, Kevin and LaRae Snipes, Alan and Michele Snipes; five great 
grandchildren- Kayla Phillips, Maddie Snipes,Brody Snipes,Jake Snipes and Luke 
Snipes also survive. In addition to her husband, Mrs Bridges was preceded in 
death by three sisters and four brothers-in-law, Mamie and Johnnie Grant of 
Pensacola, Fl;Thelma Tidd Ivey and Carl Ivey of Tifton, GA; Mavis and Kermit 
Green of Ellaville, GA; Russell Yarbrough of Jacksonville, Fla;and one brother, 
Marcus Dillard of Ellaville.

Watson-Giddens Funeral Home of Ellaville, Ga was in charge of arrangements.
