Mr. Richard Lee Brown, 69, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away Friday, January 6, 
2016, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.
 

A Remembrance Service will be held at5:00PM on Monday, January 9, 2016, at 
Tazewell United Methodist Church with Rev. Joy Wilson officiating.

Mr. Brown was born December 29, 1947, in Daytona, FL. He was a member of 
Tazewell United Methodist Church. Mr. Brown served his country in the United 
States Army and the Marine Corp for 14 years. He enjoyed reading war books as 
well as carpentry and wood working.

He is survived by his wife, Hilda Brown, of Tazewell, GA; by four sons, Thomas 
Brown of Burgin, OH, Michael Brown of Daytona, FL, Chris and Sylvia Russell of 
Tazewell, GA, and William and Sharon Russell of Shelbyville, TN; by a daughter, 
Tina and Guy Hall of Buena Vista, GA; by a special sister-in-law, Rosemary 
Russell of Tazewell, GA; and by 15 grandchildren.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, GA, is in charge of the arrangements.
