BRYANT, BRIAN KEVIN
Mr. Bryant was born July 2, 1963 in New York, NY to Herbert E and Bessie 
Grundy Bryant. He was raised by Bessie’s sister and her husband Morris and 
Ruth Ella Grundy Blue in Tazewell, GA.  He graduated in 1983 from Tri-County 
High School of Marion County.  He received his degree in welding from the 
Columbus Area Vocational Technical School in 1984; received a degree in Adult 
Extension Program - Blueprint Reading in 1985.  He was employed with Lummus 
Industries, Inc of Columbus, GA.  He died at his residence Friday, February 7, 
1992 in Buena Vista, GA.  Funeral Held at Mt Olive Missionary Baptist Church 
in Tazewell, GA; Reverend Floyd Story officiated.  Burial Cedar Creek 
Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Schley County, GA.  Survivors include: his 
parents, Uncle and aunt, Morris and Ruth Ella Grundy Blue, cousins, Ella Ruth 
Blue (Walter)  King of Ellaville, GA, Mary Blue (Phillip) Perry of Ellaville, 
GA, Maude (Mary Holt) Blue of Swedesboro, NJ, Claude Blue of Columbus, GA, 
Yvonne Blue (Richard) Brown of Mauk, GA,  Ralph (Gloria Slaughter) Blue of 
Buena Vista, GA, Major (Daphne Bowen) Blue of Columbus, GA; aunts and uncles: 
Ms Juanita Grundy of Philadelphia, PA and Mrs. Vernice Grundy Sales of 
Philadelphia, PA, Mrs. Mable Moore, Mr John Bryant and Mr Hilton Bryant, all 
of Oak City, NC, Mrs. Delores Rayfield of Columbia City, Baltimore, and Mr. 
Shelton Bryant of Brooklyn, NY; Meadows Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Oglethorpe, 
GA
