Mr. Bethune Dead

Mr. C.M. Bethune died at his home in Buena Vista last Tuesday afternoon at 1 
o’clock of Brights disease.  He has been in bad health for several years and 
gradually grew worse until the end came.

His remains were laid to rest at Ramah cemetery Wednesday morning at 11 
o’clock, Elder W.W. Riner performing the burial services.

Mr. Bethune leaves a wife and a number of children to mourn his death, who have 
they sympathy of our people in the hour of their sore affliction.

Mr. Bethune was not a member of any church so far as we know, but we learn that 
he had a change of heart some time before he died.

His life was insured for $1,000 and the policy became non-contestable at noon 
on the day he died.  This was very fortunate for his family.

We wish to thank our friends for their kind attention during the sickness and 
death of our loved one, and pray that God’s blessings will always be with them.
