Killing at Glenalta

Walter Bodie was killed one night last week at Glenalta by Ned Martin.  The 
homicide was caused by a woman, Ned Martin’s wife.  There had been some trouble 
between the men before his account, and on the night in question they met at 
Martin’s house and a fight occurred during which Walter was killed with a 
shotgun.

Martin gave himself up to Mr. J.C. Royal, and was brought to Buena Vista and 
delivered to Sheriff Parker, who placed him in jail.
