Barbara Hogg-Cannon, age 92, of Buena Vista, Georgia died at her residence, 
Wednesday, September 16, 2009.

Funeral services were held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 
Tazewell United Methodist Church with Rev. John Homer officiating.  Burial 
followed at Tazewell Cemetery.  The family received friends at Tante Funeral 
Home Monday evening.

Mrs. Cannon was born July 22, 1917 in Pomona, California, the daughter of the 
late Virgil and 
Viola Marita Crilly. She was the widow of Stan Hogg and John Cannon. She moved 
to Georgia in 1949 and lived in Columbus until her move to Buena Vista in 1960 
to the Hogg Family Homeplace.  She was a member of Tazewell United Methodist 
Church and charter member of the Wack Widows.  She enjoyed quilting, traveling 
and working with children on many community activities.  She was a devoted 
wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Other than her parents and 
husbands she was preceded in death by a daughter Janet Blair Hudson.

Survivors include her daughters Judy Rodgers and husband Larry of Murrayville, 
Georgia, Bonnie (B-Jo) Edge and husband Don of Dacula, Georgia, foster 
daughter, Amy Zitko of San Antonio, Texas.  Sister, Helen Hansberger and 
husband Leroy of Redlands, California. Grandchildren, Leslie Rodgers, Lauri R. 
Quick, Jana Blair Henderson, Jason Blair, Larry Rodgers, Jr., Jamen Blair, 
Jaree Hudson, Brandee E. Donat, Brad Edge, Nick Zitko and Laura Zitko,  22 
Great Grandchildren,  and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
