Larry Fred Chapman, 66 , of Tazewell Community, died Friday, September 7 , 2007 
at St Francis Hospital, Columbus, Georgia.

Graveside services were held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 10, 2007 , at 
Oakland Church Of God with Pastor Tim Weaver and Pastor Randy Cromer 
officiating. Music was provided by Jimmy and Liz Stubbs.

A life long resident of Marion County, Mr Chapman was born December 26 , 1940 
the son of the late Fred Chapman and Francis Stubbs Chapman of Buena Vista, GA.

He was preceded in death by his father and a wife ,  Bonnie Faye Carter Chapman.

He was Co-Owner of C.& W. Cabinet Shop and was a farmer. He also served in The 
National Guard.

Survivors other than his mother include his wife , Barbara Downing Chapman; a 
daughter, Bonnie Baxter and husband Bruce of Tazewell; a step-son, Lex Harvey 
of Fishkill, New York: three brothers; Tommy Chapman, David Chapman and wife 
Dale; and Joe Chapman and wife Dawn , all of Tazewell: a sister, Kathryn 
McAllister and husband James of Upatoi, GA: two grand children: Shannon Powell 
of Columbus and Jessica Horton and husband Paul of Tazewell;one great 
grandchild; Kyleigh-Lynn Horton. Several nieces and Nephews also survive.
 
Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista was in charge of arrangements.
