Frances Arlene Stubbs Chapman September 2, 1921- January 17, 2008 BUENA VISTA, 
GA— Frances Arlene Stubbs Chapman, 86, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2008 
at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home in Buena Vista. A celebration of her life will 
be held Sunday, January 20, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at New Providence Baptist Church 
in Buena Vista with Rev. Jimmy Stubbs and Rev. David Chapman officiating.  
Interment will follow at Fort Perry Baptist Church Cemetery in Mauk, GA with 
Frank Dillard, Aaron Stubbs, David Stubbs, Robbie McCorkle, Tommy McAllister, 
Steve Young, Lloyd Hines and Ronnie Elliott serving as pallbearers. Honorary 
pallbearers will be LaFel Stubbs, Sonny Palmer Sr., the Deacons of New 
Providence Baptist Church and Fort Perry Baptist Church. Mrs. Chapman was born 
September 2, 1921 in Marion County, GA to the late Almorine Henry and Lucy 
Greene Stubbs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Chapman and by 
her son, Larry Fred Chapman.  Survivors include a daughter, Kathryn Arlene 
Chapman McAllister and husband James of Upatoi, GA; three sons, Tommy Almorine 
Chapman, David Louis Chapman and wife Dale, and Joseph Lee Chapman and wife 
Dawn, all of Buena Vista; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one 
great-great-grandchild; and many other relatives and friends.
