Buena Vista, GA - Warren Beecher Christian, 82, of Buena Vista, Georgia died 
Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, Georgia.

A graveside service was held Thursday, May 10, 2007, at 4 p.m. at the Buena 
Vista Cemetery with Reverend Jimmy Ford and Reverend Rob McDaniel 
officiating.  

Mr. Christian was born August 9, 1924 in Vonore, Tennessee to Tilman Allison 
and Gussie Paris Christian.  He was preceded in death by his parents and by a 
sister Beulah Rounds.  He was Methodist by faith.  He served in the United 
State Marine Corps during World War II and was involved in the Pacific Theater 
and the occupation of Japan.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Annette Christian; daughter Beth 
McDaniel and husband Rob of Lizella, Georgia; grandson Ian Walter of the 
Renfroe Community in Stewart County, Georgia; brother Gene “Fish” Christian of 
Buena Vista; and by two nephews and one niece.

     Donations may be made in memory of Mr. Christian to the Buena Vista 
United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 449, Buena Vista, Georgia 31803.

Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista was in charge of arrangements.
