LOCAL PARAGRAPHS

Marion County is stained with another murder.  Some people killed hogs 
Wednesday morning.  People with cash can live cheap these days.  The cotton 
fields are becoming black and debts will have to go unpaid.

Mr. John Cook was shot and killed and his son wounded about 8 o'clock last 
Tuesday in the upper part of the county.

We will not attempt to give any further facts in the matter until we hear the 
verdict of the coroner's jury.
