Local News

Miss Ella Crew, who was taken violently insane last week without any apparent 
cause, died Sunday night and was buried in the Methodist cemetery Monday 
afternoon.

Mr. Lonnie Crew and wife, of Americus, attended the funeral of his sister here.

Mr. and Mrs. Bob Rigsby, of Americus, attended the funeral of Miss Ella Crew 
here Monday.

Miss Ella Crew, who is living with her father, J.C. Rigsby has, without any 
apparent cause, almost lost her mind, and will be tried before the Ordinary on 
the 10th instant to determine whether she should be sent to the state 
sanitarium for treatment.
