Clinton Brooks Culverhouse, Sr.
January 15, 1932 ~ January 19, 2017
Clinton Brooks Culverhouse, Sr., 85, of Mauk, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, 
January 19, 2017, at Magnolia Manor of Marion County in Buena Vista, Georgia. 
Mr. Culverhouse chose to be cremated and his funeral services will be private 
per his request.
Mr. Culverhouse was born in Butler, GA, on January 15, 1932, to John Henry and 
Ella Lee Smith Culverhouse. He was a veteran of the United States Army having 
served in Korea during the Korean conflict. Mr. Culverhouse was retired and had 
been employed as a crane operator with Wright Contracting.  He was a loving 
husband, father, and grandfather.  You just had to know him. 
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mrs. Rita Culverhouse; his children, 
Cynthia and Mike Crowe, Clinton and Linda Culverhouse, Jr., Beth and John 
Stalnaker, Jan Michael and Lisa Culverhouse, and Lynette Culverhouse; a brother, 
James Culverhouse; a sister, Edna Koon; seven grandchildren, six great-
grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also 
survive.
Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, GA, is in charge of the arrangements.
