Died

On Monday at half past three o’clock, Mrs. Joe Cranford, of Draneville, died.  
A drear and dying sound, and her spirit passed away to the happy home beyond.  
She has been sick for some time with the same disease that of which her two 
children died a few weeks past – a disease which physicians called Dyphtheretic 
Dysentery.

The Patriot extends its sympathy to the afflicted family in their timely 
bereavements.  May the balm of God be poured upon their wounded hearts.
