JANUARY 14, 1929 ~ MARCH 29, 2018 (AGE 89)

Ms. Lily Bell Millirons Daniel, 89, of Americus, GA, passed away at her 
residence on Thursday, March 29, 2018.  Funeral services will be held at 
2:00PM on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Moore’s Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. 
Mark Poole officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. 
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 30, 2018, 
from 6:00-8:00PM. Serving as active pallbearers will be Kyle Phillips, Clay 
Barrett, Peyton Stanfield, Eddie Aring, Daniel Floyd, and Benjamin Phillips.

Ms. Daniel was born January 14, 1929, in Marion County, GA, to Walter and 
Grace Jones Millirons. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church in 
Ellaville, GA. Ms. Daniel was a homemaker and enjoyed Braves baseball. She 
loved fishing, reading, and singing and played several musical instruments. A 
great hugger, she always gave a kiss on the cheek to those she met. In 
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Alver 
Phillips, Jr. and Wanzer Daniel, a son, Alton Carroll Phillips, a brother, 
Royce Millirons, two sisters, Juanita Brown and Wilma Whitley, and longtime 
companion Julian Cromer.

She is survived by four sons, Ray and Sheila Phillips of Jefferson, GA, Billy 
and Julie Phillips of Rutledge, GA, Neil Phillips of Cochran, GA, Carlton and 
Judy Phillips of Americus, GA; three daughters, Margie Phillips of Cochran, 
GA, Frances and Tim Brooks of Cochran, GA, and Debra and Kline Stanfield of 
Americus, GA; two sisters, Ouida Anthony of Columbus, GA, and Loy Hammond of 
Geneva, GA; fourteen grandchildren, Lynn Albritton, Perry and Rebecca 
Albritton, Adam and Dana Phillips, Nikki and Daniel Floyd, Kyle Phillips, 
Olivia Brooks, Elizabeth and Eddie Aring, Kevin Phillips, Amanda and Clay 
Barrett, Chelsey and John Breivogel, Peyton Stanfield, Savanna Phillips, 
Benjamin Phillips, and Lily Brooks; thirteen great-grandchildren and three 
great-great-grandchildren.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, GA is in charge of these 
arrangements.
