Darville Born: Thu., Jul. 18, 1929 Died: Wed., Nov. 19, 2014 Funeral Service 2:00 PM Mon., Nov. 24, 2014 Location: Andersonville National Cemetery William “Bill” Tyson Darville, 85, of Buena Vista, Ga, died Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at Gentiva Hospice in Columbus, GA. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, November 24, 2014, at Andersonville National Cemetery with Reverend Raymond Smith officiating. Mr. Darville was born July 18, 1929, in Tampa, FL, to Walter and Eva Blitch Darville, Sr. Mr. Darville was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, having served in WWII. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He owned Gulf Breeze TV and Radio Repair where he worked as a T. V. Technician. He loved making people laugh. He was a fighter and stayed positive throughout his sickness. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Jeske. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Thelma Grace Darville of Buena Vista, GA; a son, Ken and Valerie Darville of Pensacola, FL; three daughters, Marie Darville of Marianna, FL, Michelle and Brian Scott of Milton, FL, and Kathy Pippin of Douglas, GA; a brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Lorene Darville, Jr. of Tampa, FL; a sister, Myrle Leto of Tampa, FL, six grandchildren, Troy Seay, Erin and Curtis Stephens, Sarah Darville, Summer Darville, Michael Pippin and Jenny Pippin ; one great-grandchild, Nathan Stephens; and special friends, Deborah Hines and John Smith. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Mr. Darville's grandson's fight against Cystic Fibrosis and his campaign for a bi-lateral lung transplant at www.goteamtroy.com.
