Christine (Hagler) Davis

Born: Thu May 28, 1925
Died: Mon Oct 28, 2013

Ms. Christine Hagler Davis, 88, of Buena Vista, GA, died Monday, October 28, 
2013, at Gentiva Hospice in Columbus, GA.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at 
2:00pm at New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Raymond Smith 
officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday 
evening from 6-8 PM.

Ms. Davis was born May 28, 1925, in Buena Vista, GA, to Floyd and Jennie 
Blythe Hagler.  Baptist by faith, she was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist 
Church. She was a lifelong resident of Marion County and loved to work in her 
yard.  She was employed as the Clerk for the Marion County Commissioners. In 
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Harry 
Davis and her sister, Nadine McClung.

She is survived by a son, Stanley R. Davis, a daughter, Eleaner Davis, both of 
Buena Vista, GA; and by a grandson, Craig Davis.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia, was in charge of these 
arrangements.
