Francis Carmen DiMarzo, 61, of Mauk, died Sunday, August 23, 2009, at Vista 
Care at Franciscan Woods in Columbus.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at 4pm at First Baptist 
Church with Reverend Chris Hess and Reverend Mark Chandler officiating.

Mr. DiMarzo was born January 5, 1948, in Buffalo, New York to Angelo Anthony 
and Jean Cavocolli DiMarzo. He was a Sergeant in the Marines and served in 
Vietnam. He was employed as an electrician. He spent his early life in New 
York and lived most of his adult life in Florida. He moved to Harris County, 
Georgia in 1986 and then to Mauk in 1993. He was a loving husband and devoted 
father. He was Catholic by faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded 
in death by a brother, Joseph DiMarzo.

He is survived by his wife, LaVieda Bennett DiMarzo and a son Anthony Angelo 
DiMarzo, both of Mauk; by a brother, Richard DiMarzo, of Birmingham, AL; a 
niece, Barbara DiMarzo; and three nephews, J. D. DiMarzo, D. J. Dimarzo, and 
Brian DiMarzo. 15 Great Nieces and Great Nephews also survive.

Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia was in charge of arrangements.
