Local News

The death of Eugene Drane Dunham, the five year old son of Judge J. J. Dunham 
and wife, on Thursday of last week, was one of the saddest occurrences that 
ever happened in Marion County.

Eugene was a boy of unusual promise and his untimely death was a severe blow to 
his parents who idolized him.  His remains were interred at the Methodist 
cemetery, services being conducted by Rev. Hugh Oliver.  Judge and Mrs. Dunham 
have a host of friends who sympathize with them in this their hour of grief.
