Columbus, GA.  Joel Rudolph Elliott, 78, of Columbus, GA died Monday , December 
26,2005 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 pm Wednesday , December 28,2005 at Striffler-
Hamby Montuary, Macon Road Chapel.  Burial will follow in Parkhill Cemetery.

Mr. Elliott was born November 10,1927 in Marion Co, GA. the son of the late 
Emmett Elliott and Vetro Posey Elliott.

Survivors include his wife; Margaret Elliott: son, Ronnie Elliott [Sandy} ; 
daughter , Charlene Sappington {Bob}, grandsons, Rob Sappington { Jennifer}, 
Bryan Elliott {Crystal}, granddaughters, Christin Stevens { John }, Amy Collins 
{Robert}, Brittany Ventura { Nick}, great grandchildren: Rachael Stevens,Molly 
Collins, Sydney Ventura, and Dylan Ventura .sisters and brothers; Autry 
Rutherford, Doris Foster,Muriel Brannon, Emmett Elliott, Shirley Pugh, Bennie 
Elliott: Many Nieces and Nephews,great nieces, great nephews, and close 
friends.  


Additional Comments:
Mr. Elliott lived in Columbus, GA for 55 years and owned and operated Elliott's 
Auto and Machine Shop.
He was a Baptist and attended Ft. Perry Baptist Church in Marion Co. GA
