Lucius Drane Foster, 73, of Waverly Hall, GA, died Sunday, August 25, 2013, at 
Gentiva Hospice in Columbus, GA.
 
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, in the Chapel of 
Watson-Tante Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Stubbs officiating. A private 
family burial will follow the service at New Life Freewill Baptist Church. The 
family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
 
Mr. Foster was born November 1, 1939, in Taylor County, GA, to Grady Eugene 
and Essie Mae Lumpkin Foster.  He was Freewill Baptist by faith and was 
employed in the construction business.  In addition to his parents, he was 
preceded in death by his siblings, Melba Hudson, Bob Foster, Irene Underwood, 
and Virginia Frost.
 
He is survived by a brother, Houston and Faye Foster of Columbus, GA; and by 
three sisters, Gladys Foster of Huntsville, AL, Frances and William Underwood 
of Columbus, GA, and Christine and Larry Grier of Buena Vista, GA.
 
Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia, was in charge of these 
arrangements.
