Bobby Junior Foster, 77, of Junction City, GA, died Monday, October 7, 2013, 
at Gentiva Hospice in Columbus, GA.
 
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at New 
Life Baptist Church with Reverend A. R. Curlee and Reverend Jimmy Stubbs 
officiating. Music will be provided by Jeff Morrow and Silas Fuller.  Burial 
will follow the service in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be 
Ronald Lackey, Gary Barker, Wendell Henderson, Terry Lackey, Blake Lackey and 
Timothy Barker. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Kent, Joe Smith, and Joey 
Smith. The family will receive friends at New Life Baptist Church on Tuesday, 
October 8, 2013, from 6:00-8:00 PM
 
Mr. Foster was born August 25, 1936, in Tifton, GA, to Robert Drane and Danty 
Florence Barrett Foster. Baptist by faith, he was a member of New Life Baptist 
Church and had been living in the area all of his life. He was employed as a 
truck driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a 
sister, Shirley Arnold and a granddaughter, Donna Barker.
 
He is survived by his wife, Myrtice O’Hearn Foster of Junction City, GA; by 
three daughters, Patsy and Wendell Henderson of Junction City, GA, Vickie and 
Ronald Lackey of Munford, AL, and Rhonda and Gary Barker of Talladega, AL; a 
brother, Jimmy and Doris Wheat; two sisters, Dianne and Roland Troublefield 
and Geraldine and Randy Williford, all of DeFuniak Springs, FL; three 
grandchildren, Terry Lackey, Timothy and Jamie Barker, and Blake and Jill 
Lackey; two sisters-in-law, Irene Clendening of Dalton, GA, and Ann and 
Randall Roberts of Rockface, GA; three brothers-in-law, Ray and Lily O’Hearn 
of Phenix City, AL, David Arnold of Upatoi, GA, and Bobby and Kathy O’Hearn of 
Buena Vista, GA; and three great-great grandchildren, Cassidy Lackey, Emily 
Barker and Ella Barker.
 
Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia, was in charge of these 
arrangements.
