Shelby Earl Foster  May 9,1929 ---- 29 July, 2006  Columbus Ga Muscogee Co.

Shelby Earl Foster,77, of Columbus, Ga. died July 29, 2006 at St. Francis 
Hospital. Graveside services will be held 10 A.M., Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at 
Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, Al. according to Striffler- 
Hambry- Mortuary, Macon Rd. Mr Foster was born May 9, 1929 in Marion Co, GA. , 
to the late Drane and Sarah Ella Mae Foster. He was a veteran having served his 
country in the U S Army and in the U S Air Force.
He is survived by two brothers; Ted and his wife Judy Baskin, of Columbus, 
Buddy and his wife Ruth Baskin of Columbia, AL. two sisters; Sarah Joyce Wilson 
of Louisville, GA. and Mildred Shehane of Columbus, GA.and nieces and nephews.

Additional Comments:
Parents were: Arthur Drane Foster, born in Marion Co, Ga and  Sarah Ella Mae 
Green, born in Talbot County.  Arthur Drane is buried in Marion County Ga, with 
his first wife, Arrie Powell, at New Life Freewill Baptist Church. Sarah Is 
buried in Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus, GA.along with Baskin. Arthur Drane was 
married [2 ] times, Sarah [3] times.
Shelby Earl told me he never married and had no children in a phone 
conversation in 2005.
