July 24, 1961 ~ February 10, 2020 (age 58)

Nita Willene Borum Foster, 58 of Buena Vista, GA. Passed away Monday February 
10th, 2020 in the comfort of her home. A Memorial Service will be held at a 
later date.

Nita was born July 24, 1961, in Columbus, GA, the daughter of the late Douglas 
Borum and Louise Borum. Nita was a Christian by faith and a homemaker at the 
time of her death. She loved flowers and gardening, and spending time with her 
family. Her favorite “Hobby” was talking about all the little things with her 
husband Jerry while rocking in their matching rocking chairs on the front 
porch of their little county cabin and watching her beloved cat Lola play in 
the yard. She was a simple woman with a heart of gold who adored the small 
things in life. Other than her parents Nita is preceded in death by sisters 
Barbara Morgan and Deanne White.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Jerry Freeman Foster of Buena 
Vista, GA; Daughter Crystal White Jones and husband Allen Jones, of Columbus, 
GA; Son Ryan Foster and wife Patricia Foster, of Fort Mitchell, AL; 
grandchildren, Ashton Matthew Albert and Addison Morgan White; sisters, Janie 
Borum Pearson, Vicky O’Shell, Linda Elliott and brother Van Borum.

A special thank you to sister in-law, Brenda Foster Watson and brother in-law, 
James Watson, for all the special care and love shown through the years. You 
truly made a difference in her life.

In lieu of flowers those so desiring may make a contribution in the memory of 
Nita Willene Borum Foster to Fort Perry Baptist Church 1489 Bethlehem Rd. 
Mauk, Georgia 31058.
