Robert D. [Drain} Foster October 31, 1917---October 2,  2004  Columbus, GA.
Robert D Foster , 86, of Columbus, formerly of Marion County died Saturday, 
October 2 at the Medical Center, Columbus. 
Funeral services will be Monday, October 4 at 11:00 A. M  at Ft Perry Baptist  
Church, Marion County with entombment at 1:00 P M in Parkhill Cemetery, 
Columbus.  Reverend Brian Fuller  and  Reverend J. C. Grimsley will officiate.
Mr Foster was born October 31, 1917 in Marion County, the son of Arthur Drain 
and Aurie Powell Foster, He had lived in this area most of his life and was a 
member of Ft Perry Baptist Church. He retired as a farmer and was owner of a 
General Store in Marion County.

Survivors include a son, Bobby Foster of Mauk, GA; daughter Shirley Arnold of 
Upatoi, GA. ; One sister Mildred Shehane of Columbus. Six grandchildren; Seven 
great grandchildren; one great great grandchild. The family will receive 
friends at the funeral home this evening fron 6:00 -- 9:00 PM. 
Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista , Georgia in charge of arrangements.
