 Annah Mae Weed Goodwin, age 73, died Sunday, July 22, 2007 at her home in 
Cusseta, Georgia.  

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at 10 a.m. at County Line 
Primitive Baptist Church in Marion County, Georgia with Elder Wesley Watkins 
officiating.  Burial followed immediately in the church cemetery. 
                                                                               
                  
Mrs. Goodwin was born December 29, 1933 in Chattahoochee County, Georgia, the 
daughter of Ausie Samuel and Verna Mae Kemp Weed.  She was preceded in death 
by her parents and her sister Annette Register.  She was a Christian woman who 
was a faithful member of County Line Primitive Baptist Church in Marion 
County, where she became a member on October 4, 1981.  She was a loving wife, 
sister, mother and friend who enjoyed tending her flower garden.  She loved 
her Lord and her church.  

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Charles C. Goodwin; her son Jeff 
Goodwin of Kentucky; three daughters: Janie Grider, Julie Wiehe and husband 
Jim, all of Cusseta and Joni Mercer and husband David of Bryant, Arkansas; one 
brother Arthur Culpepper and wife Gloria of Cusseta; two sisters Jean Moore 
and Elaine Averett, both of Cusseta; and four grandchildren: Jarred Wiehe, 
Zach Wiehe, Cody Goodwin and Joseph Goodwin.

The family requests that love offerings in memory of Mrs. Goodwin be made to 
County Line Primitive Baptist Church, 2947 Barbara Road, Columbus, Georgia 
31907 or to Columbus Hospice, 7020 Moon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31909. 

Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista was in charge of arrangements.
