Graff, age 74, of Wildwood, Florida died Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida after a long battle with cancer. A graveside service celebrating his life was held Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. at Cole Family Cemetery in Mauk, Georgia. Mr. Graff was born February 9, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York, son of the late Joseph and Edna Gilroy Graff. He served honorably in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was an adoring husband and avid golfer, a dedicated college professor, a competitive conversationalist and passed on his sharp sense of humor to some of his four children. Mr. Graff is survived by his beloved wife Linda Pigg Graff; two sons, Jonathan Graff and wife Audrey Miklius of Rockwall, Texas and David Graff of Hawaii; two daughters, Ellen Graff of Somerville, Massachusetts and Rebecca Graff of Dallas, Texas; three stepdaughters, Marcheila Rollack, Valerie Cole and husband Bob and Kimberly York, all of Margate, Florida; two grandchildren, Jacob Graff and Matthew Graff; and three step-grandchildren, Natasha Pickens, Joshua Cole and Brittnay Duffy.
