Sara Walters Green, age 87 of Buena Vista, Georgia died Monday, August 10, 
2009 at Vista Care @ Franciscan Woods, Columbus, Georgia.

Mrs. Green was born August 8, 1922 in Sumter County, Georgia the daughter of 
the late James Buyan and Gertrude Whitman Walters.  She has lived in Marion 
County for the past ten years, having lived in Atlanta most of her life. She 
retired from Arrow Shirt Factory as a seamstress in Atlanta, Georgia.  She was 
a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses Cusseta Congregation.

Survivors include her son Karlton P. Green, Jr. of Buena Vista, Georgia, 
brothers, Mac A. Walters of Buena Vista, Georgia, Billie Walters of Virginia, 
Charles E. Walters of California.
sisters, Thelma Inez Allen of Florida, Wynell Watters of Arkansas, Elna Hadley 
of Tennessee.

 Other than her parents Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her husband, 
Karlton P. Green, Sr.
 
A memorial service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 
Cusseta August 23, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Wayne Owens officiating.

Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia was in charge of arrangements.
