Susan Elaine Greene Haney, 52, died Friday, May 23, 2008 at her residence.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2008, at 
Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia, with Reverend David Chapman 
officiating. The family received friends at Tante Funeral Home on Thursday 
from 10 to 11 a.m.

Mrs. Haney was born February 4, 1956, to Henry Ellis and Phyllis Janelle 
Greene. She was employed at the Columbus Police Station as a secretary. She 
was Baptist by faith and was a member of New Providence Baptist Church. She 
was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by the father of her children, Curtis Haney of Newman, GA; by 
a son, David Robert Ellis Haney and wife Dawn of Buena Vista, by a daughter, 
January Kaye Wright and husband Rudy of Preston, GA; and by two sisters, April 
Yvette Hamilton and Tammy Kay Greene, both of Columbus.

Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista was in charge of arrangements.
