Draneville- Mrs. Julia Wells Harbuck, 84, from Perfect Care on Sullivan Drive, 
died Wednesday morning, Sept. 6, 2006. A native of Marion County, Mrs. Julia 
was born Frb. 5, 1922, the daughter of the late Joe Wells and Dicie Wall Wells.
She was a very active member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and had all six 
children there on Sundays. She was a very loving, caring and wonderful wife 
and mother. She was a devout Christian and enjoyed sharing her love of Christ 
with everyone. She was preceded in death by her husband George F. (Bo) Harbuck 
and daughter Dicie Valeria H. Fender.
The family will receive family and friends at Tante Funeral Home in Buena 
Vista from 6-8 p.m. Friday Sept. 8, and at other times at the home of Bill and 
Judy Bell, 423 Rawlings Road, Americus.
Survivors include one son, Clayton and Dixie Harbuck of Griffin; daughter, 
Mary and Bill RAy or Griffin, Annette and Zeke Woods of Waycross, Diane and 
George Goodroe of Americus, and Judy and Bill Bell of Americus; and sisters, 
Hazel Hanner of Buena Vista, Peggy King of Griffin, Betty Jean Able of 
Fitzgerald, Mary Harbuck of Americus, and Virginia Harbuck of Hiawasee.
Also experiencing her loss are nine grandchildren: Rhonda, Gina, Wayne, Todd, 
Trista, Sharon, Ashley, Matthew, Derrick, Shawn, Shannon, and Pat. She is 
survived by seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept 9, at Mt. Carmel Baptist 
Church in Draneville, with the Rev. Raymond Smith amd the Rev. Hugh DeLoach 
officiating. Burial will follow at Tazewell Cemetery in Marion County.
