Bobbie Ackiss Faulkner Hart, age 70, of Buena Vista, Georgia, died Friday, 
August 13, 2010, at the Medical Center in Columbus, GA.

A graveside funeral service was held at 5:00 PM on Monday, August 16, 2010 at 
Buena Vista Cemetery in Buena Vista, Georgia, with Bob Kurtz officiating. The 
family received friends at Tante Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-9PM.  

Mrs. Hart was born August 26, 1939, in Gay, Georgia, to Howard & Ola Whitley 
Ackiss. She had lived in Columbus during her early childhood. She was a 
military wife during adulthood and had lived in many places finally settling 
down in Buena Vista 39 years ago. She was a homemaker.  She was preceded in 
death by her parents, and by two husbands, Johnnie B. Faulkner and Harold G. 
Hart. 

She is survived by a son, Johnny D. Faulkner & Laura of Buena Vista; by two 
daughters, Leisa Howell & Roger of DeSoto, GA and Judy Cummings of Columbus, 
GA; and three sisters, Betty Cotton of Buena Vista, Ruth Boyett of Smiths 
Station, AL, and Joyce Kurtz of Buena Vista. Seven grandchildren and five 
great grandchildren also survive.

Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia was in charge of arrangements.
