Watson- Tante Funeral Home  Buena Vista, GA  July 16, 2012
Mrs. Minnie Mae Martin Havard, age 94, of Lilburn, GA, died on Sunday, July 
15, 2012, at Emeritus Assisted Living in Decatur, GA. 

A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at 
Evergreen Memory Gardens Cemetery at 12:00 PM. The family will receive friends 
at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 PM. 

Mrs. Havard was born May 9, 1918, in Poria, Illinois, to Winfield T. and 
Carrie King Martin. She was a Baptist by faith and a member of First Baptist 
Church of Cusseta. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was 
preceded in death by her husband Lamar Havard. 

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda D. Corning of Phenix City, AL, and 
Lynda Gattis of Lilburn; by six grandchildren, Kelli Mills, Cherie Corning, 
Brian Gattis, Kent Gattis, Christy Belager, and Leslie Stewart; and by 4 great-
grandchildren. 

Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia, was in charge of these 
arrangements.

Monday July 16, 2012, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Watson-Tante Funeral Home
