Tante Funeral Home   October 2007
Cusseta, GA – Bobby Hutchinson Helms, 69, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 
2007 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.

Graveside services will be held Friday, October, 4, 2007 at 11a.m Eastern Time 
in Hartford, Alabama, with Rev. Brian Fuller officiating.  Visitation will be 
held at Tante Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. 

Mr. Helms was born June 21, 1938, in New Brockton, Alabama, to the late 
Charles Emmett and the late Savanna-Lee Lula Waters Helms. He was a Mason and 
a Ranger in the Army and served in the Vietnam War, where he was decorated 
with many medals for his achievements, including the Purple Heart and the Good 
Conduct Medal. After he retired from the army, he was a self-employed 
contractor. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Cusseta First Baptist 
Church.

He is survived by two sons, Bobby Helms, Jr. and Scott Helms both of Sunrise, 
FL; and by two daughters, Tammy Helms of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Angie Helms. 
Two special cousins, Annie Hyde and her son Jim Hyde, also survive.  

Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista was in charge of arrangements.
