Buena Vista, GA – Arrey Lou Boyd Henson, 96, died Friday, April 6, 2007 at 
Magnolia Manor in Buena Vista.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, April 8 at 4 p.m. at the Buena Vista 
Cemetery with Rev. David Ellis officiating.  

Mrs. Henson was born February 14, 1911 in Barbour County, Alabama to John 
Henry and Emma Bowden Boyd.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her 
husband John Wesley Henson, Sr. and her daughter Laura Olivia Vanzant. She was 
Methodist by faith. She had lived in Buena Vista since 1943 and retired from 
Manhatten Shirt Factory in Americus, Georgia.  

She is survived by her children Nettie Lee Roessner of Springfield, New 
Jersey, Madeline H. Daniels of Buena Vista, John W. Henson, Jr. of Hamilton, 
Georgia, Carolyn H. Gaspard of Jacksonville, Florida, David P. Henson, Sr. of 
Mableton, Georgia, and Larry K. Henson of Jacksonville, Florida; by her sister 
Susie Bell Adams of Clayton, Alabama; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-
grandchildren.

Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista is in charge of arrangements.
