HOLT, GLENN
Mr. Holt was born February 19, 1950 in Delray Beach, FL to Mr. Cecil and Lee 
Alice Mathis Holt.
Glenn graduated from Buena Vista High School and entered the US Army, then 
moved to Boston, MA where he worked at Sears and Roebuck.  He traveled 
extensively. 
He died 1:00 p.m., October 1, 1987 at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital 
In Boston, MA.  Funeral services were held Saturday, October 10, 1987 at Mt 
Olive Baptist Church in Tazewell, GA.  Reverend Floyd Story officiated.  
Burial in Mt Olive Baptist Church cemetery.  He is survived by his parents, 
his sisters: Mary Alice (Maude) Blue of Swedesboro, NJ, Lois Bonner Bishop of 
Delray Beach, FL, Bernice Holt of Lantana, FL, Julia Ann Bellamy of Fort 
Lauderdale, FL, Edna LaFrance Holt of Americus, GA, Alice Mae Holt of Atlanta, 
GA, and Essie Mae Holt of Kentucky; brothers: Terry and Benjamin Holt, both of 
Americus, GA; uncles, Eugene Holt, Murry Holt, and Robert Holt of Delray 
Beach, FL and Roy Holt of Tazewell, GA; aunts, Rose Ella Sanford of Tazewell, 
GA, Mary Lee Gibson of Atlanta, GA, and Sallie B Oliva of Americus, GA; four 
brothers-in-law: Maude Blue of Swedesboro, NJ, George Bonner of Tampa, FL, 
Charles Bishop of Delray Beach, FL and Reverend Bellamy of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
