Services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at County Line Primitive Baptist Church with Minister Bertha Averett and Becky Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Blake Speck, Haywood Baynor, IV, David Forsyth, Jeremiah Johnson, Caleb Hall and Rick Bentley. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, from 6:00-8:00PM. Mrs. Hudson was born in Marion County on July 1, 1931, to Lucius and Effie Sinns Turner. She attended Oakland Church of God and was a homemaker. Mrs. Hudson was the most welcoming and loving person and she never met a stranger. She enjoyed feeding people and loved to cook. She was famous for her homemade biscuits. Mrs. Hudson liked to go to gospel singings and loved flowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gordon Hudson; two sons Willie Hudson and Freeman Hudson; two daughters Eileen Hudson and Audrey Hudson; and a granddaughter, Tina Hudson. Survivors include four sons, Brad Hudson (Wanda), Dean Hudson (Shick), Spud Hudson (Staci,) and Barry Hudson (Shenia); two daughters, Kathy O’Hearn (Bobby,) and Bungi Harbuck (Earl); 13 grandchildren, Alex Hudson, Jamie Miley, Jessica Hudson, Tabitha Salter, Candace Hudson-Camp, Shane Clayton, Christy Schwarting, Renee Forsyth, Kelly Hudson, Crystal Hudson, Eric O’Neal, Dylan Hudson, and Trever Renaud; 29 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews that she loved as her own also survive. Way-Watson Funeral Home, 1052 Dr. Deryl Hart Road, Buena Vista, Georgia has been entrusted with these arrangements.
