Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, January 8, 2023, in the Chapel of Way-Watson Funeral Home with Rev. David Chapman officiating. Burial will follow the service in Buena Vista Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 7, 2023, from 5:00-7:00PM. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of the Magnolia Manor Memory Care Unit. Mrs. Hutto was born September 19, 1937 in Macon, Georgia to Vilas Blue and Emily Murray Belk. She was very active in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Hutto enjoyed creating and making things pretty - flowers, crafting, decorating her home, and helping others with theirs. In her younger years, she loved to travel and visit new places, entertain friends, and visit with family. She thrived on a good mystery and was always able to solve it before the movie got started. She will be remembered as a very generous, strong, loving lady with a spirited personality. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, G.W. Hutto and a sister, Emily Belk. Survivors include her children, Beverly Powell and her husband, Randy, Wyn Hutto and his wife, Karen, and Holly Jones and her husband, Rod; grandchildren, Jensen Howell, Jonah Howell, Anabelle Howell, Hannah Grogan, Brie Jones, Liam Jones, Lleyton Jones, Samuel Hutto; great-grandchildren, Sawyer Howell, Rhylyn Howell, and Everleigh Howell; a sister, Dr. Beverly Belk.
