Harvey Dead Tuesday morning at about half past six o’clock the spirit of Rev. A.J. Harvey left its earthly tenement and winged its flight to the God who gave it. Until about one year ago Mr. Harvey was stout and in robust health, and no one suspected that he would so soon lay cold in death from that dreaded disease, consumption. Its work was rapid however, and his former robust body fast declined until his death. About six or seven weeks ago he came to Buena Vista from his home at Oglethorpe, fully conscious that the end was near, to die at the home of his foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. T.W. Harvey. Mr. Harvey lived and died in the faith, and his soul has gone to its eternal rest. He leaves a heartbroken wife and one child and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his untimely death. His remains were interred in the Methodist cemetery in Buena Vista Wednesday morning.
