Tazewell Items

On Thursday, June 12, many friends and loved ones had their hearts saddened by 
the death of Miss Alice Halley.  She was 19 years, 4 days of age.  For some 
time she had been quite feeble.  Physician and family gave her the best of 
attention.  They knew she could not live long, but did not expect her death so 
early.  She had only been confined to her bed three days.  She joined the M.E. 
church when quite young.  I will say she was a girl true to her God, therefore 
it is hardly necessary for me to say that she was true to her earthly 
companions.
