She had been missing for several days and her people had no idea as to her whereabouts. Mr. Boggs, who was out in the woods, noticed some buzzards circling over a spot nearby, and marking an investigation, came upon Mrs. Hamilton's body. She had evidently been seized while going through the woods and was unable to call for help. Mrs. Hamilton was buried today in the Palmer burying ground. She was seventy years of age and a widow. Her husband was a gallant Confederate soldier. Her remaining relatives, with the exception of a son who now lives here, reside in Texas. Some thirty years ago Mrs. Hamilton was thought to have died, but just as her body was about to be placed in the coffin, evidences of life were discovered. For nine days she remained in her singular state of deep unconsciousness. On the tenth day she fully recovered her senses and became apparently well, although she never fully regained her usual health.
