Daisy M Irvin, age 76, of Mauke, Ga, died Monday Feburary 4, 2008 at her 
residence. 
Funeral services were held Thursday February 7, 2008, at 2 p.m. at New Life 
Freewill Baptist Church with REv. Brian Fuller and Rev. Charles Fuller 
officiating. Burial followed in New Life Cemetery. The family will receive 
friends at Tante Funeral Home in Buena Vista, Ga, Wednesday from 6-8 p.m.
Mrs. Irvin was born May 19, 1931 in Taylor County, the daughter of the late 
Bessie Elizabeth and Roalnd W Hayes. She had lived in Marion County all of her 
life and was a member of New Life Freewill Baptist Church. She has worked at 
Playtex in Manchester, GA and at Marion Memorial Nursing Home in Buena Vista, 
GA. She was the widow of Joe Irvin.
Survivors include her son, Dennis Irvin of Mauk, GA; a daughter, Helen 
Carlisle and husband J.C. of Warner Robins, Ga; a sister, Doris Albritton of 
Butler; her grandchildren, Karen Dempster and husband Lex, Jamie Carlisle and 
wife Debra, all of Warner Robins, Scotty Irvin and Jerel Irvin, both of Mauk, 
Garrett Harris and Shawn Adams, both of Dalonega, GA; and a great-
granddaughter Carson Elizabeth Dempster.
Mrs. Irvin was preceded in death by her sister Hattie Watson and her brother 
James C. Hayes.
Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista was in charge of arrangements with Lemuel 
Harbuck, Kevin Harbuck, Steve Daniels, Joe Hanlon, Barry Watson, and Bobby 
Stubbs serving as pallbearers.
