Herbert Rainey Johnston April 23, 1927 - May 30, 2010 WAVERLY HALL, GA — 
Herbert Rainey Johnston, 83, of Waverly Hall died Sunday, May 30, 2010 at his 
residence.
 Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday June 2, 2010 at McMullen 
Funeral Home Chapel 3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA with Rev. Scott Hagan 
officiating. 
 He was a member of Masonic Columbia Lodge #7 since October 1948 where he was 
a 32 Mason.
  He was preceded in death by his son, Marco Joseph Uzelac; siblings, Grace 
Anthony, James H. Johnston, Lois Tomblin, Samuel Johnston, Sara Huffenberger, 
Vera Alexander and Neal Johnston. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Tatum 
Uzelac Johnston of Waverly Hall, GA; daughter, Rita Johnston Lowman and 
husband, Gary, Sr. of Sarasota, FL; grandchildren, Gary Lowman, Jr. of 
Washington D.C. and Clint Lowman of Sarasota, FL. In lieu of flowers, the 
family request donations be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children 2900 
Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, Fl. 33607
