Vivienne Boysen Jones, 80, died Saturday, January 10, 2009, at M. D. Anderson 
Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Funeral Servies were held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Tante 
Funeral Home with Rev. Bo Curlee officiating. Interment followed at the family 
cemetery in Marion County.

Mrs. Jones was born December 1, 1928, in Russell, Kansas to Harold Koch and 
Lorena Ferguson Boysen. She was a well-known artist, having graduated from 
Parsons Art School of Boston, MA. She was a member of the National Portrait 
Society and Alpha C. She was a longtime resident of Destin, Florida and also 
Houston. She had lived in the Oakland Community for several years. In addition 
to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William Arthur 
Jones.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Hunter and Meredith Jones, 
of the Oakland Community; Harold and Diane Boysen Echols of Jacksonville, FL; 
a daughter, Georganna Redifer, of Phenix, Arizona, and a sister, Barbara and 
Bill Bruce, of Houston, TX. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Jeremy 
and Donna Jones, Angela and Vic Donahay, Cameron Redifer, Nicholas Echols, and 
Erin Echols, and by five great-grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan, Hunter Ann, 
Kathryn, and Owen. Several Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews 
also survive.

Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia was in charge of arrangements.
