Mrs. Petra Rainey Jones, 55, of Box Springs, GA, passed away Thursday, May 05, 
2016, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 7, 2016, in the 
Chapel of Watson-Tante Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Sizemore and Rev. David 
Chapman officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to11:00 am 
prior to the service.

Mrs. Jones was born October 22, 1960, in Stuttgart, Germany, to Robert and Ute 
Neumaier Rainey. She was very giving and she enjoyed being involved in all 
aspects of her children’s and grandchildren’s lives. Mrs. Jones was a loving 
daughter, wife, mother and grandmother and was very devoted to spending time 
with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Rainey.

In addition to her mother, Ute N. Rainey, she is survived by her husband, Alan 
Jones of Box Springs, GA; by a son, Robbie Jones of CA; by a daughter, Crystal 
and David Silsbee of Covington, GA; and by three grandchildren, Sam Silsbee, 
Jake Silsbee and Evie Silsbee.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia, is in charge of these 
arrangements.
